Privacy Policy

Epopt is designed as a privacy-first personal finance application. This policy explains what information is processed, where it is stored, and what choices you have.

1. Information We Process

Epopt processes the financial records you enter, such as account pools, cash flow events, recurrence schedules, and scenario data. This information is required for core app functionality.

2. Data Storage

Budget and projection data is stored locally on your device by default. Epopt does not require account registration to use core features.

3. Optional Sync and Export

If you choose to sync or export data, transfers occur through the storage channel you configure (for example, iCloud Drive). You control when and where this data is transferred.

4. Analytics and Tracking

Epopt does not include advertising SDKs or third-party tracking pixels in its default configuration.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your local app data remains on your device until you edit or delete it. You can remove app data by uninstalling the app and deleting related files from your configured sync provider.

6. Children and Sensitive Data

Epopt is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit highly sensitive credentials, government identifiers, or payment card details into free-form notes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete data. Because Epopt stores primary records locally, most data rights actions can be completed directly in-app.
